Stress Mode

Haiti is receiving pressure from all over, media, other countries, but mostly from their citizens. They are going through a major electorial crisis and there is pressure to solve it quickly and effectively so that the government can continue on coming up with solutions involving the earthquake.
It was recently announced by Electorial officials that the presidential runoff will be held sometime within the next month as opposed to the originally scheduled January 16. Experts from the Organization of American States that were called in to review the controversial results from the first round are being pressured to complete their task as well. The current leadership position is adding to the country's instability and delaying Haiti's ability to begin reconstruction projects and fix its ruined economy.
There have been many accusations of fraud and disenfranchisement following last November's election. Jude Celestin beat Michel Martelly by 7,000 votes to win a place in the runoff, Celestin is the protege of outgoing President Rene Preval.
